Having read the comments on IMDb and the quite average votes this movie has got, I was sceptical and I didn't know whether I would like it or not. So I ignored Stepford Wives at the box office. Today, I saw it as a bargain at my local grocery store, bought it, went home, put it into my DVD-player and... I was surprised. I still am. The Stepford wives is really a movie worth watching and I must say, I really (!!!) like it. If you like comedies with heart, charm, a touch of romance and also some things to think about, then this is definitely one for you. All actors are at least doing good jobs, some are splendid and the story itself is really lovable. Yes, the plot has some tiny weaknesses, but nothing to really bother about. Watch it and judge by yourself. The story itself is witty, smartly designed and it will catch you in a way that you will lose your interest in looking for some minor flaws. I give this movie 8 out of ten and it really deserves this vote. Try it!
